"For waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water."  Isaiah 35:6b-7

 Points to Ponder:

When you hear the word 'stewardship,' what is the first thing you think of? Is it a positve or negative thought?

Have you ever thought about your baptism and stewardship together?

At your baptism, did God claim all of your life, or just part of it?  Is your money separate from that claim?

How important is your MONEY and the things it can buy?

Martin Luther said, "humans need to experience three conversions: of heart and mind and purse." Do you agree? 

Do you equate stewardship with joy?

Prayer:
Lord God, You are most generous in Your gifts to Your people, to me. Open my heart and my mind and fill me with Your spirit so that, with Your help, I might discern what it is I keep dry. Help me to see that all aspects of my life belong to You. Give me a grateful heart and a spirit of generosity to share Your gifts with others. Amen.
