	MUSIC STAFF
	Music Director/Choir Director	Karron Lewis, our Music Coordinator and Adult Choir Director, received a B.A. in All-Level Music Education from Texas Lutheran College in Seguin, Texas. She taught vocal music and music theory in high school and junior high. Through the years since leaving public school teaching, she has continued to be active in music as Music Coordinator and director of the Adult Choir and Instrumental Ensemble at churches in College Station, Texas; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Austin, Texas. Karron's Ph.D. is from Texas A&M University in Educational Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis on the Observation and Analysis of Teaching Strategies. Her dissertation research combined this emphasis with her music background-The Development and Validation of a System for the Observation and Analysis of Choral Conductor Gestures. In her "non-musical" life, Karron is the Associate Director of the Division of Instructional Innovation and Assessment (DIIA) at The University of Texas at Austin where she works with UT faculty and Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs) to help them teach as effectively as they possibly can.

	The Abiding Love Choristers	Under the Direction of Karron Lewis JOIN THE CHORISTERS! Ask a choir member what singing in a choir does for him or her. It's very likely that you'll find he or she gets great joy in serving the Lord through singing.  And remember, also, there is wonderful fellowship among choir members.  Singing in a choir is a good way to make new friends - try it !! 	Mixed Blessings	A group that leads contemporary worship services at Abiding Love at late service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays and at early service on the 5th Sunday of the month. The Worship Life Board and Mixed Blessings hopes and prays that this service will enrich your worship experience in new and meaningful ways. Due to popular demand, Mixed Blessings will lead an alternative worship service at the 8:30 service on the 5th Sunday of the month during those months with five Sundays. They also play at special events and are available to play for other congregations in the Central Texas area. For more information, contact . 	Instrument Ensembles	Under the Direction of Karron Lewis and Holly Leoni The Abiding Love Instrumental Ensemble - is looking for a "few New Players." See the light and join us! Anyone from 8th grade through adult is welcome to join us. We plan to play on special Sundays and usually rehearse the two Sundays before the performance. 	Special Music Events	From time to time we have special musical performances, either indpendently or as part of a worship celebration. Our "Living Faith Festival" celebrations have included musical performances by the Zion Baptist Church Gospel Choir, and the Soul Mates from Manchaca United Methodist Church.
